Stuck at Home for Le Mans?

If like me (2002) you can't make it to Le Mans for the finest motor race in the world then don't despair.  There are still a number of options open to you.

• Clear the race weekend of any engagements

• Get Autosport and various other magazines all featuring Le Mans specials

• Download the bloody awful Real Player and allow it to spread it's cancer through your PC

• Go to the Radio Le Mans website and use Real Player to listen their coverage

• Check the TV schedules, especially British Eurosport & Channel 4

• Get a crate of lager in

• Heat the lager in the microwave prior to drinking (*)

• At 2:30pm(**) get yourself into a comfy seat in front of the telly and watch the formation laps and immediate build up

• If you require sleep then go outside and kip on your driveway/the street (*)

(*) Optional, but required for an authentic Le Mans experience
(**) Remember the race starts at 4pm, but that's in France - i.e. 1 hour ahead of us
